valiuminated asked: I feel like I ask you too many questions..but, whatever. Anyway, you and I seem to like a lot of the same bands, so I was just wondering what your favourite experience of seeing a live show has been?

Either finally getting to see Blink last year, or seeing FOB at some nearby college indoor arena type thing. You couldn’t wear studded belts inside so I stashed my white one in the bushes. It totally got jacked but getting covered in confetti and seeing Wentz strip down to his skivvies in a glass box up close and personal was worth it. The energy was just fucking incredible. It felt really really good.

And really any time that I start having a serious emotional waterworks response signals a good show experience, big or small. Happened during Aiden, and then both times at Patent Pending. I had never even listened to Patent Pending - I still don’t - but the sincerity with which dudeman made you feel like you are good enough and you are cool and you don’t have to be so hard on yourself was like. Really really really important. Like. Wow cool I have never seen you before in my life but you are being so genuine and realistic and just 100% a good person and are the only person who’s positivity I haven’t laughed at outright holy fuck holy fuck holy fuck.

I don’t generally share feelings about music or whatever because I hate the whole “ME TOO SAME” thing that tends to happen. Because it’s like nah impossible music is way too personal for us to feel the same shut up shut up shut up. But I do have real feelings about things sometimes.
