I do. I also speak very quickly. And considering that the one person who I speak the most candidly and frequently with out loud is Maria, there’s an understanding there with regard to speaking rapidly in an overlapping fashion with a wide variety of words. I like to be as precise as possible when it comes to word choice so that my meaning is as specific and accurate as possible.

Part of this comes from how my parents spoke to me as a child, I figure. They never really talked to me like a child. My father, especially, has a really extensive vocabulary and is extremely verbose. Which can be really annoying, but like, his brain just moves a lot faster than his ability to pick up on the fact that he’s talking too much, and he’s the kind who enjoys hearing himself talk. So I heard a lot of talking and I learned a lot of words when I was a kid.

So I kind of just kept them. While keeping in mind that using more than needed is annoying, so I should try and be as conservative and concise as possible when making a point that matters. It just so happens that a lot of points on a wide variety of topics tend to happen.

One thing that this blog is missing, though, is my running commentary on pretty much everything that I see that I consider funny or interesting. Like. Little quips and mumbles. But that generally only works in real life when I can use voices and body language/facial expressions.

I like complex, layered communication.
